Green Travel – School Bus
Last week the bus driver came to our classroom to talk about how green the bus is. He told us lots of interesting facts about the bus.
Did you know that thirty five cars are the same as one bus and its fifty four cents to go on the bus and one euro to drive your car? The speed is 81 kilometres and there are fifty one seats.
Another green way to travel is to car-pool. Car-pooling is where you bring friends in your car instead of both driving separately eg. You could bring someone to school with you.

Ø The yellow bus has fifty one seats

Ø The schools he goes to are the Boys School, the Girls School and our school.

Ø The bus ticket costs €100

Things about the School Bus

v You must have your seat belts on the bus

v You cannot smoke on the bus

v You are not allowed to eat or drink on the bus

v Don’t stand up on the bus. And always sit down because if you are standing up on the bus and it took a sharp turn you will end up flying and bashing into a wind-shield

v You cannot litter or stick chewing gum on any of the seat belts on the bus

v Don’t distract the bus driver when he is driving

v No bad words or swearing or say any bad words on the bus

Green Travel – By School Bus
Going to school by bus is very green .The bus is like carpooling but it has more seats. The school bus has fifty-one seats. Carpooling is fine but the bus is better. Going on the bus means less pollution .The experience on the bus is even a bit exciting.
Thirty to thirty-five cars are the same as one bus. So if at least twenty people are on one bus it’s a lot of pollution gone.
Did you know that it’s one euro to go in a car and fifty-four cent for the bus? So if you have a bus ticket, please use it and even if you don’t have a bus ticket please spare fifty-four cent to go by bus. It would save a lot of pollution.
